Christian Medical College (CMC), located in the small town of Vellore, Tamil Nadu, was founded in 1900 by an American missionary Dr. Ida S. Scudder who witnessed 3 women dying in childbirth. She began CMC as a one-bed clinic which grew into a 300-bed hospital spread across 6 campuses. Her vision was to train women to care for women. Over time training began in nursing, medicine, allied health and postgraduate courses in a broad range of medical specialties

Building on the success of the preceding 4 conclaves, this landmark event aims to convene leaders and experts from various sectors to generate implementable recommendations for enhancing healthy lifestyles acrossIndia. With a history of impactful white papers influencing government decisions, this conclave is a critical platform for collaborative action.
With themes ranging from mental health to environmental wellness, the conclave promises rich discussions on vital topics like combatting lifestyle diseases, nurturing mental well-being, and promoting healthy habits. The anticipated white paper from the conclave proceedings is poised to bridge public-private efforts in enhancing citizens & quality of life.
